Pedro was very interested in prayer. He had seen his grandmother pray at night before she went to sleep, and he had watched his uncle pray at dinner. But Pedro didn’t know how to pray. He gently raised his hand.

“Yes, Pedro, do you have a question?” Mrs. Sanchez asked.

“I do,” he replied. “How do you pray?”

“That is an excellent question. Let’s all learn to pray today. What is the first thing we should do?”
